I have seen quite a few Fortis fliegers that I decided to stay away from, because the pictures of the products being sold looked a little too much like the replicas shown on this thread. I even saw some watches that I found suspicious on Chrono24. I new to watches and Fortis as a brand. I just purchased a used 'authentic' Fortis Flieger on ebay that was advertised as needing a service but in 'flawless' physical condition. The watch arrived today and it is severely damaged and not as described. The movement is missing jewels, screws and is mangled around the crown stem. Not many people know about Fortis. Similar situation with Damasko, Muhle Glashutte, Hanhart and less so with Sinn, but rep Sinns are complete shit. Imho these are the brands which are really worth buying in gen - incredibly well made, original and off the big radars. I'm almost sure is a fake one. Below some of my quick observations based on your pictures, the link you shared, and this link with pictures of the original one: 1. The lugs look shorter. 2. The finish of the back of the lugs doesn't look refined. This is not expected in a Fortis.
